MCP Final Reflection

This was definitely a fun assignment, I got to sit down and choose my own genre. My decision to choose a short story was to create a scenario that one hundred percent happens in real life, people hate the way they look based on how others perceive beauty, but I wanted to show how it can be fixed. It’s never too late to love yourself (the title of the short story). The decision to use a suicide note to get a point across was to try and scare the reader not in a horror movie type of way but in a “this can happen to me in real life” type of way. I think suicide is a serious topic and its something that people close to me have thought about. Even though both the short story and suicide note dont correlate I want the happy ending in the short story to show that suicide is never an option whatever hole youre in you can get out and prosper.
